Meaning is built, not delivered

Why do some people remember and apply what they learn while others forget it entirely, even though they attended the same training?

That's because people learn by actively constructing meaning, not by passively receiving information.

Learners don’t just absorb facts. They interpret new information based on what they already know.

Connecting ideas, challenging assumptions, asking questions, and applying concepts.

We might not always get the time or client buy-in to build all of this in a learning intervention but even small elements like a branching scenario or a reflective prompt can make a difference.
